They pull to the line and it's Clarence who get's the jump 1st with .624 with Chad waiting for the big .695, But Clarence putting to much power to the track smoking the tires and loosing time gave the chance Chad need to catch back up and go on for the win. Chad goes through with 6.143 @ 112.20 MPH over Clarence's 6.278 @ 115.66 MPH.
2nd pair to take to the line was Eric Hendrickson and Ray Whittington. Ray get's the jump at the tree with .568 and never looks back.          2nd pair out Henry Nooft and car 1782. 1782 jumps on the tree with .448 over Henry's .628. Henry had to make up for lost time at the tree but he could not get it done going through with 5.398 @ 136.84 MPH, with car 1782 taking the win with 5.330 @ 131.96 MPH.
3rd pair out was Tink Liptrap and Keith Brandt. Keith cuts down the tree with .428 (best rt of the night for OPS) over Tink's .567 but just about door to door at 60ft and Tink has to lift near the 330 and Keith takes the win with 5.287 @ 138.83 over Tanks 6.640 @ 78.94 MPH.
4th Pair out we see Dave Tolley and Luis Conujo. Luis is the only 10.5 running an import and a 4 cyl at that, But could he find enough power to run down Dave? Dave take's off 1st with .446 over Luis .555 but Luis had to lift at the 60ft and Dave goes through with 5.048 @ 143.57 Over Luis 7.730 @ 94.83. Round one finished and setting up the field for round 2, who is going to move on to the final? Let's get to it. D/R round 2 brings out Ray Whittington and Frank Provenza. Ray gets the jump on the tree with .476 over Frank's .507 at the 60ft its still Ray holding the lead but at the 320 we see Frank taking the lead back and Frank takes it with 5.668 @ 127.34 MPH over Ray's 5.781 @ 124.80. This had the fans on their feet and ready for more and more they got.
Next out was Chris little and Chad Smith. Chris was the 1st to move with .422 over Chad's .652 but its Chad at the 60ft but look out here comes Chris who never looks back going through with 5.402 @ 142.57 MPH over Chad's 5.948 @ 115.98. Chris little set's his spot in the final.
OPS now coming to the line. 4 of the fastest cars of the night ready to do battle. Round 2 OPS bring us Dave Tolley and Keith Brandt. Dave leaves with an .437over Keith's .446 and the 60ft has Dave out in the front and he holds that lead with 5.023 @ 142.94 MPH over Keith's
5.441 @ 132.17 MPH. Dave Tolley in the Final again this week.
Next out was James Houston and Car 1782. Just about a side by side start James's with .509 and 1782 with .502 but James showed why he took the win 2 races in a row and powered through the 1/8 mile with 4.977 @ 142.94 MPH over 1782's 5.316 @ 132.17 MPH. Great racing has been seen by both classes all night long many of the fans stayed to see the final. So here we go Drag Radial Final pairs Chris little and Frank Provenza. They heat the tires and move to the line both thinking whats it going to take to come out the winner. Chris leaves hard with a .456 and Frank leaves like he was broke .917 Chris takes the win with 5.320 at 143.16 MPH over Frank's 14.527 @ 47 MPH. Now for the OPS Final Dave Tolley and James Houston now we have seen this pair in the finals before and here we go again James gets the jump with .438 over Dave's .485 but again James holds off Dave to take the win with 4.997 @ 141.73 MPH over Dave's 5.079 @ 142.31 MPH and a great race again this week guys. The top dogs have stayed away letting the local guys have great races all though seeing the 4.5- passes is great but it leaves little room for the small guys to make a run for it But there is room for a few more cars in each class but remember bring your a game because its anybody's race. I hope to see you all back at the next race guys and thanks for a great night of racing.
